During this unit we experimented with drawing different perspectives and observations in our artwork.
In the mini lessons I felt that drawing the three flowers was the hardest because I couldn't get them "just right." I couldn't get the "flowing" feeling of the flowers through my drawing.
I thought that the lollipop was the easiest drawing our of the mini lesson drawings. Even though it was the first piece we drew , and even though it was hard to draw at first after I got the hang of it the rest of it came along pretty easily.

How is this artwork about who you are or what you like? This artwork represents me because it consists of three of my most favorite things. When looking at the dra wing the re are Pointe shoes in the left hand, because I love to dance, and there are ear-buds in the right hand because I always listen to mu sic. The third it em in the drawing is the lyrics that run on the sleeves. Those lyrics are part of the lyrics to my favorite song; Thunder Road, by Bruce Springsteen. |
Did you try something that you weren't sure about as part of this project?
I did try something new for this final project. Usually drawing hands is pretty hard and challenging for me but I wanted my objects to be held or be apart of something so it didn't just look like three random items on a piece of paper. I decided to draw two hands holding the objects. It took me a whole day and a half to get them the way I wanted. It was also very challenging because once I finished with the right hand I thought the left hand would be easier, but It was even more challenging, because I had to draw what I already drew but reversed.
