This is the final picture of my perspective project!!!
I Developed My Art Making Skills
During this project I developed my art making skills because this was my first time stippling and working with pen. This project gave me a chance to try and learn new techniques as well as love new styles of art. Working with pen is difficult because as an artist you have to push the darks and lights. The pen either rushes the darks too much or not enough. Using pen helped me understand the significance in balancing out the darks and lights.
We Collaborate
During the time we were doing our perspective projects I collaborated with people at my table. I asked them what they thought, and they gave me awesome feedback such as using to pen techniques (crosshatching and stipple) and pushing the darks and lights. By getting someone else's opinion it gives me as an artist a chance to understand what the viewer see's, and some ideas for my composition. The people at my table gave me good and bad feedback which pushed by artwork to look better than it was. They were honest and told me what they liked and what could be better.
I Solve Problems
For this perspective project I used pen. Even though the pen turned out great and gave a different effect to the artwork it did take a while and there were some "problems." One issue was that it took way longer than I expected, but I ended up taking it home to work on! Another issue that occurred was that the pen tip would bend, which would mess up the balance of the dark and light and mess up my stippling. This was very annoying, but I used this "'problem" to help me push my darks and contract the shape and shadows.
Overall I really love to stippling, and I'm glad I learned how to.
